ITALIAN model Bianca Balti is the new female face of Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue fragrance, joining David Gandy - who represents the men's version.
"Bianca has featured in many Dolce & Gabbana campaigns, but to see her with David brings a renewed, relaxed energy to Light Blue. Together, their eyes match the colour of the water, that beautiful endless blue that is the Mediterranean surrounding Capri," said Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana. "Watching it is to dream of plunging into that refreshing sea and feel the sun on the skin, to feel totally free, relaxed and at peace."
Shot in Capri by Mario Testino, the new campaign sees Balti and Gandy donning the white swimwear that has become synonymous with Light Blue fragrance campaigns. Print and film advertising will follow.

You'd think as time went by and technology becoming more advanced, the level of photography and images would only develop and improve for the better. Although unfortunately that's no the case here. It's blatant that we're living in a post-production world which is necessary for most photographers.
The first set of Light Blue adverts are immaculate, they seem to be untouched and look very natural. However the latest set with Bianca Balti and David Gandy are more or less an eyesore. Yeah, the atmosphere is wonderful and the couple look desirable. But they look as though they were both shot in the studio and placed before the Capri background post-production. In Bianca's solo shot it's even more evident.
