Makeup giant Maybeline New York has just announced their new spokesmodel - the ravishing, up and coming 18 year old American beauty, Emily DiDonato. DiDonato, who was born and raised in New York, joins the likes of A-list spokespersons for the brand, including the infamous Chirsty Turlington, Julia Stegner, Erin Wasson and Jessica White, to name a few.
“Emily has an incredible aura; she is smart, strikingly beautiful and has a lovely outgoing personality. The moment my team and I met her we knew she was the one. She exudes a very natural, refreshing and unpretentious beauty which women around the world will be able to relate to. Emily’s very New York background, Italian and Irish, makes her inevitably so Maybelline! Emily has everything to make it big in this industry and we are proud to be the first cosmetic brand to support her.” said Cyril Chapuy, General Manager of Maybelline New York Worldwide.
Emily will make for debut for Maybeline New York in their Colour Sensational Lip Colour TV commercial and ad campaign which will launch this summer.

Maybelline New York has signed 18 year old model Emily DiDonato as a new spokeswoman for the brand.
DiDonato joins Christy Turlington, Julia Stegner, Erin Wasson and Jessica White at the L'Oréal-owned brand, stands 5 feet 10 inches tall, and has light brown hair, blue eyes and an Angelina Jolie-esque pout. She was born and raised in upstate New York.
Last fall, she was discovered by ReQuest Model Management, according to Maybelline, and soon she was signed up for a 12-page editorial shoot in Glamour magazine. She then became the face of Marciano by Guess spring 2009 campaign. DiDonato, who still lives with her family, will graduate from high school this summer, Maybelline added.
"Emily's very New York background, Italian and Irish, makes her inevitably so Maybelline," said Cyril Chapuy, general manager of Maybelline New York Worldwide.
DiDonato will make her debut for Maybelline New York in TV ads for Color Sensational Lip Color planned for this summer, the brand's much-hyped lipstick launch.

Thanks for all the great pics. I just love her for Maybelline...just wish we saw her in more places.
..and how random is Jessica White, she is so not a beauty girl IMO, just watching the video..she looks so out of place.
I don't know where you are located, I am in the US and I see Emily more than anyone else on TV; when it comes to print it is a mix between Emily, Christy and couple that I don't immediately recognize, so presumably Erin or Kemp. The models that I see is probably function of the magazines I read and the shows I watch, also it was discussed in one of the L'Oreal threads that different ads and models are seen in different geographies, so perhaps that also applies to Maybelline.
Re Jessica, I am mixed on her, she has a gorgeous face, but then when the camera pans out things can get shaky like too often she has a bad weave.
Oh yeah, I see her for Maybelline a lot too, what I meant was other work outside of Maybelline. She gets other campaigns but then I never seem to see them anywhere...for instance when she was the face of Calvin Klein Jeans I don't recall seeing the ads at all (aside from online off course).
...but I agree as far as Maybelline is concerned she is the main face. I'm in the UK and although we do see Maybelline from time to time on the TV and in print it seems to me that L'Oreal is a lot more prominent here, I see a L'Oreal ad almost everywhere I go.

i agree Jessica is a stunning model but she often gets terrible weaves in her shoots.
Back to topic Emily is like the perfect beauty model she looks amazing in their ads
