I'm not really surprised Meisel is now shooting Balenciaga, after all M.A. Sauve styles the campaign and she's been working a lot with him lately....

I think Chloe Sevigny will be in the campaign. After all she was/is a Ghesquiere muse, yet has never appeared in a Balenciaga campaign. Strange, no?
I have no doubt that Sevigny will be in the campaign, i also think that Salma Hayek has a chance, she is at every show, and they seemed to be good friends now.But we will find out soon enough, specially if there are big names involved, it will get leaked.

hhhmmm??? group of celebrities for balenciaga, i think it sounds cool! though its just so sad 'cause i thought they're gonna use models for their fall campaign. but i just hope nicoleas g. won't just tap mainstream celebrities like keira, scarlett, reese, etc! i would like to see natalie portman, vanessa paradis, marion cotillard, kate beckinsale, ziyi zhang and eva green as the group of celebrities for balenciaga's fall 09 campaign.

^but my dear, i think charlize is exclusive to dior. (am i right?) or if not, it's because charlize is identified as a dior woman.

Is Christy for YSL confirmed? I'd actually really like to see that, she's my favourite of the Supers. I remember her Balenciaga campaign from ages ago was fantastic

So sad to see Meisel getting Balenciaga. Where's the diversity in photographers?

hope this hasn't been posted:

Certain brands might be pulling back to a one girl ideal but Gucci ain't one of them. The Hiss Squad reports from London that 9 girls are being called up for duty. But who in the foreground and then in the background? Indoor looks or on-set drama? More dancing belles? Or will it be something more static and graphic. Place your bets on more-of-the same or a shift in visual brandmaking. -the imagist
