So are us meager mortals aloud to speculate or are only the fashion insiders aloud.
Anyways, Ricardo Tisci said that the collection was for all different kinds of women which was reflected in the shows diverse casting (old and young models, girls like Adriana and Valentina Z mixing with the likes of Meghan C and Karen E. I wonder if it will have any bearing on the campaign?
What about Sigrid for Valentino, personally I think it would be a bad match but, she did open and close the couture show and opened the rtw.

I am excited to see the first Valentino campaign since whatstheirfaces took over. I wonder how atrocious it will actually be. I do think that Sigird is too young looking for it anyway, from her profile she looks like a little girl.
Oh and I wasn't suggesting any of those girls be in the campaign and don't worry I am sure that we would have heard long ago if Adriana got the campaign seen as she is of such a high profile in terms of celebrity.

Are people forgetting Adriana got her start in high fashion? She looked great at the show and she's gorgeous. Her in the campaign would be great!

^ It doesnt matter where she started. Anyone who is the face of Victoria's Secret should not be allowed anywhere near labels like Givenchy. She'll just look wrong there. Its like Masha Tylena for Victoria's Secret, it just won't work.

I think Adriana is versatile enough to be in this campaign, but that might be just me...

^No, Gisele is probably the only exception, but even when she did high fashion campaigns she sexed them up.
I love Adriana, dont get me wrong, shes probably teh sexiest girl Ive seen ever. but Givenchy is hardly the place for her to go. She's more of a Valentino/Gucci/Versace girl.

but i agree w/ Squizree..Adrianna isnt edgy enough for
Givenchy..although she looked great at the show she wudnt
look good in the campaign..imagin mariacarla and her nest to each other..horrible

Ummmm....Ymre closed the couture show. And I don't think she'll get it.
I mean who remembers when Vlada closed the fall 08 rtw show and opened the couture show? And did she get the campaign??? NO! Angela and Isabeli got it, and Isabeli didn't even walk in any of those shows!

It's a very fine line in this thread between campaign news, and campaign hopes and desires (or even forecasting for lack of a better term). i think if adriana gets givenchy or will be just part of it in the campaign (if ricardo is gonna use a group of girls again), i think it's just fine.

let's give her a chance just in case.

^i love KK!!! it would be definitely great to see her making a comeback on the world of high fashion just in case.
