COLD FRONT: Belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts is doing an encore for Louis Vuitton and will front its fall-winter 2014 men’s campaign.
The Belgian actor and Kim Jones, men’s studio and style director at Vuitton, travelled to Iceland for the shoot, with Peter Lindbergh the lens man this time. A travel pro, Jones posted some images on his Instagram account of the rugged and frosty island nation.

Nicolas Ghesquière's First Vuitton Ads to Boast Top Photography Talent
THREE’S COMPANY: Word has it Nicolas Ghesquière’s first fashion campaign for Louis Vuitton will break the mold as he has tapped not one, but three leading photographers. It is understood the advertising will somehow blend images shot by Bruce Weber, Annie Leibovitz and Juergen Teller.
The faces of the campaign are familiar to Ghesquière’s universe and include the actress Charlotte Gainsbourg, as first reported in WWD Collections magazine on April 14, and models Liya Kebede and Freja Beha Erichsen, both of whom walked in Ghesquière’s debut Vuitton show for fall 2014.
Previously, Steven Meisel had lensed Vuitton’s fashion spots under Marc Jacobs, who stepped down as creative director last year to focus on his signature brand and prepare the company for a public offering.
Natasha Poly was in Cannes with her husband and 10-month-old baby. “I’m staying on a boat. It’s very relaxing – away from all the craziness,” said the L’Oréal brand ambassador, who will also be seen in the next Gucci campaign. “I find Cannes actually a kid-friendly place,” she remarked.
