I certainly hope not. They may as well put a wig on a mannequin and shoot that because that's as interesting as Linda is in print. She has a frozen face void of variety and expression. The F/W08 campaign is one of my least favorites.

If Prada is casting a legend, to me the former Prada models who can rightfully be referred to as such are Linda and Naomi. To me neither one gives good face these days, Naomi gets photoshopped within an inch of a SIMS character, and Linda is all but a SIMS character, but Meisel loves them and I cannot rule out that he won't be able to come up with at least two or three visually pleasing images, if indeed one of them is cast.

What about McMenamy? I don't know her history with Prada but IIRC her VI cover was something like McMenamy the Legend, and she too is one Meisel's beloveds.

assuming hisssquad wasn't misusuing the legend word, imo it can only mean a select few.

My guess is Linda. She's finally back working this year after a long hiatus. She was Prada's guest at Met, and is Meisel's ultimate muse.

Zuzanna was rumoured for Valentino and I believe Lanvin.

I can't see that happen jac and frida for lanvin, though meisel shot Frida for Prada several seasons ago, i think more likely is valentino; frida and jac are in all their shows and jac has been the face of their mainline a couple seasons ago.

but it could ofcourse also be a other brand.
