i'm betting on Linda since she also worked with Meisel for VI recently, then i think it could be Amber, Angela or Daria W..
what about Shalom or KK? is that too far fetched?
I can't imagine Linda with that hairstyle.

Me neither And this collection needs a more solid face if you know what I mean. Angela would be great, but I doubt either of those girls Lee MG Tisci mentioned will be in it.

I bet the "big" model is Anne. Fashion people love to exaggerate the status of models even if they're not that popular.

But also that rumor said, there supposed to be 4 models, (2 news, 1 "legend" and 1 "it girl"), still don't see the "it girl" or "legend" so I guess they went for a different direction

i honestly don't see anything special or striking in Elza, it obviously seems that the industry thinks different though

what about Zuzanna, Arizona, Sigrid, Kendra, Nimue, Katryn K, Antonia W or Kelly M?
it's true that they have lost some prestige but they still do a lot for some models' career..
i dont think prada did much for arizona. her breakthrough was definitely her solo ysl campaign.

and other girls that u have mentioned are not really "it" girls these days. the majority of people dont remember what models prada used for their campaigns in the last few years, but they can remember models in brand such as chanel, gucci, dior and ysl.

if u look at girls who starred in campaigns such as chanel, gucci, ysl, or dior, then you clearly see that these girls are more in demand than prada's girls. eg joan small(gucci puts her on the map), abbey, freja(chanel put her on the map), karlie(dior), karmen, saskia, arizona, etc.

i quite hate meisel's direction for using an army of newbies for every campaign under his camera lenses, balenciaga, louis vuitton, prada, etc and worse he turns every newbie into a clone of each other.

I think the most dissapointing breakout potential was Rasa Zukauskaite, considering that the S/S 2010 was an OG campaign for her she fell right off the radar like that....I don't think there have been many successful Prada girls since Sasha...I would count Daria and Sigrid but like everyone else is saying they gained their stardom from other campaigns (Daria for Jil Sander & Sigrid for Gucci)...

was that even a legit rumour or a fake rumour? cause, there are 3 big ones magdalena, anne v, iselin, 3 new ones elza, vanessa and .. i can't remember the last one..

seems to me possible there will be some other models. we will see, but i doubt there will be a legend in it.

I guess if Ymre didn't quit to go to school she could have have been really succesfull. She never did the mainline og like Sasha and Raza did though. Prada still had interest in her while she quited (as stated cause she was in their campaign s/s 2012) and after prada did have the og vogue paris ed and vogue italia.
But after she quited, well, she got a other season Prada but never the big covers and other big campaigns (maybe this season). Sasha is the most successfull. Raza was really dissapointed.

It wasn't a rumour. It was said by Wayne Sterling, the boss of MDC and I doubt he would produce such fake rumours. But since MDC likes to exaggerate things I think Iselin is the "legend", at least if this is the final cast.

i didn't mean to name them as "it girls", i was replying to your comment that there isn't a model who has got a career out of a Prada campaign.. all the models i mentioned started with Prada and it definitely made them much more noticed by casting directors, editors, photographers, etc.

i think it's quite logical that Gucci or Chanel models are more memorable bc they use the same group of girls who are usually already established, while Prada or Balenciaga tend to book more newcomers, have bigger casts and rarely do OG, but still people expect the latter brands more since they're very unpredictible..

Considering the current revamp of YSL () by Slimane (), I was wondering if there would actually be a campaign? Same for Jil Sander and Dior. I mean their creative teams have changed immediately after fashion weeks when the campaigns are usually shot.
And should there be campaigns, will they have a different team than before...

You'd be surprised how quickly a campaign can be shot and be ready for publishing.

I know that, but will it still be the same team as before?
For example will Jil Sander be shot by Vanderperre and styled by Rizzo and did Raf have a say in it?
