The presentations of the F/W 2012 collections ended a few weeks ago, this thread is to discuss all model casting, including: wish list for the upcoming season, guesses about which models may have been cast, and reactions to casting once the campaigns come out.

Model(s): This may be heresy, but I would not mind a celeb like Madonna or Monica Bellucci being the centerpiece with a bunch of models thrown in.
Comments: This may be better suited for Spring, but if they are wedded to the family theme I would like to see a riff on the nouveau riche, so a white haired, impeccably coiffed, over-tanned patriarch (think Garavani or Armani) wrangling his kids or grandkids. The setting can be the Alps (would really go well with this collection) or the other obvious locales like Lake Como or the Amalfi Coast.

And after last season's monstrosity, I really hope Lagerfeld goes back with Freja. Heck, I wouldn't even mind Heidi Mount there, but I'm sure we can all bet on Saskia getting that campaign.
