I think they both look incredible. Very good job on the hair, make-up and editing. This is really good for a Gucci campaign. I'm surprised by how they managed to make such a huge turnaround from all of the last few years' campaigns and yet it still looks so right, it totally works. I love this!
Now a Gucci campaign that I really like after a couple of seasons. Everything in here is flawless. Although I would have loved to see Natasha instead of Karmen. But this is great. It has this Avedon feeling IMO.
I wouldn't class this as a minimalist campaign. Minimalism to me, is the likes of Jil Sander by Willy Vanderperre. Maybe this is a minimalist direction for Gucci, but to me, it's just two models in a studio setting - an uncluttered version of a previous Gucci campaign. There's a certain warmth to the first shot that I don't think a minimalist picture could possess.
