Anyone who has seen Mean Girls, will understand what I'm saying.

The feeling I get from this campaign is so "I'm not like a regular mom, I'm a cool mom". Enough said.

It seems like every campaign that Arizona is apart of it becomes a "Arizona Bashing." Majority of these comments/posts aren't constructive criticism. She is obviously a favorite of many designers and the actual fashion forces, if she wasn't she wouldn't land these campaigns. Arizona as I said before looks lovely in this campaign, well done Isabel Marant team.

I really like Arizona, in general. I just don't like her recent campaigns.

Well at least it has a story?

I love Arizona but I agree that she looks more like some random lady on a knitting magazine than a sought-after high fashion model in this campaign. But what's worst about this campaign are the HIDEOUS clothes. But for some reason I still like the images themselves, they look fresh and eye-catching. At least here Marant isn't trying so hard to look de luxe and high fashion when most of her recent collections are just overpriced pieces that are on a par with H&M design-wise.

I did not call them "over the hill" nor was that what I was thinking, I referred to them as "older" in the relative sense, in other words a woman in her late twenties / early thirties trying to dress like a teen, collegiate or a club chick is an "older chick trying to dress several years younger than her age."

They are not "older" in any relative sense. That's ageism at it's worse.
Yes, they are "older" than a teenager, and a teenager is "older" than a child but that does not make them older in any way or form.

The first response in this thread, is the best response in the thread.

I couldn't agree more.

The bolded part of your statement reflects what I meant and tried to clarify in my follow-up post, if it will make things clearer or more palatable then I will amend my original comment to "like some woman trying to dress several years younger than her age."

Wow, this is bad. If only they changed her hairstyle and not ask her to smile, this campaign would have been x100 better.
