I've finally realized what it is this ad reminds me of. It's very Stravinsky's "Rites of Spring", kind of a pagan dance where the posessed virgin is offered up to the gods....in a stunning cloud of saffron yellow.

I think that's why I don't mind the crazed body language and facial expression...it adds something a bit dark.

Lanvin SS 2008 collection is one of my most favourites among spring collections and the ad is just great..!and it hypnotizes you when you keep looking at it

That's a very interesting observation. I actually called this ad 'witch on fire' when I described it to my friend over the phone!

This is so not what I thought they were gonna do! I was expecting something more in the style of the runway show, with fireworks and ice-cream and neon lights and fun. But at least this is very beautiful! Somehow Lanvin always delivers! I'm really looking forward to seeing more shots. Finally a good campaign!
