Alicia really does not make sense as a Ghesquiere girl. She's pretty but in a very sweet way, nothing particularly edgy or modern about her. She would have been perfect for Alessandro Michele's Gucci, IMO.

this is pretty and all that but compared to 2 previous LV "Spirit of Travel" campaigns, this is such a downgrade

The video campaign is much better, I think the beauty of it is that Michelle looks so effortless. Just as well they gave Alicia so little screen time, her segment with the snake is very random.

That's not how I see her at all. Have you seen her in the film "Ex Machina"? It's probably her most successful film thus far, and her role/performance is edgy and not at all sweet. Even in interviews and such, she doesn't really seem sweet or old-fashioned at all. Less so than Michelle Williams, certainly. She's successful, stylish, she's a European actress making it big in Hollywood, she's dating Michael Fassbender (that gives her edge, right? lol), she seems like the perfect girl for this kind of campaign.
