This collaboration feels like something out of the Marc Jaconbs era. A campaign with an over the top concept by Mert and Marcus or Meisel would've been so much better than this.

Bruce Weber's domination has bored me so much that I'm oddly taken with this image. Hope it's not by him. It does look like a cheap M&M rip-off (oh the irony).

I wonder whether these artist collab ranges sell well for LV. I'm never a fan of it. It just looks so ugly and in this case, like a Chinese knock-off. But then again, I'm not a fan of the celebrity artists they choose to work (Hirst, Kusama, Sherman, and now Koons!). These people are so overrated!

As Karl recently said "I like Jeff Koons but..."
This is a very predictable, boring and borderline ugly collection. I don't see anything fun or covetable about this. If at least the shapes of the bags were appealing...
I'm not sure that they choose the right bags for the collab.

It's very M&M for Vuitton in 2004.
Nicolas has nothing to do with the collection but i believe that him & MAS consult on this...

The photo is not that bad, but forget the photo. That is the ugliest bag I have ever seen. I can't believe people will pay thousands (?) of dollars for it.

Wow, that bag is ugly

This legitimately looks like the fake desert LV campaign by M&M.

SO F***ing true! I'm laughting so hard and the bag... I wont even comment it you can buy the same in a tourist shop Rue de Rivoli in Paris for 20 euros

I still don't understand why they try to make Alicia happen to me she's so weak

That bag is awful..they needed a strong model to pull this concept off. Its still better than the Bruce Weber campaigns they've been producing though

I'm guessing the gift shop at the Louvre must have served as inspiration.

I think it was shot by Mert & Marcus, since the duo photographed the promotional spread of Alicia and Jeff Koons for Elle France this week.
