I've never seen their prices in the 6k range but i have seen them in the 2k range this season for hand painted dresses. But i agree, I'm sick of diffusion lines raising their prices. As for lindsay, actually I can see it as a fit. I can see her wearing miu miu (esp. the shoes) and i don't think it will be weird. But I'm sick of Mert & Marcus to be honest.

Miu Miu does make very ugly shoes IMO now that i think about it....

It's obviously not the popular opinion but I think this could work. I'm definitely not going to judge until I see the pictures, but I'm excited to see how they turn out.

Wow this is quite a surprise. This girl has absolutely no class and looks extremly cheap, so dear lord how can you choose her? She'll be definitely ruining their clothes, but oh well...

I am very surprised that Miuccia would choose her but I will not judge until I see pictures for I do think that Lindsay can look gorgeous at times and like it or not she has that charm as an actress. We shall see. I hope her hair's red.

I think my greatest fear is that Lindsay Lohan will add too much 'sex appeal' to a Miu Miu campaign (considering the nature of the S/S07 collection I think this would be really mis-matched). She has a tendancy to do this 'open-mouth' thing that looks a little porno and somehow when she is wearing high-fashion in photoshoots, it looks a little 'off'. As people have said though, no point judging before the pics have even come out but it does fill me with dread slightly....

Wow! I really do NOT think of Lindsay Lohan when I think of Miu Miu. Miu Miu for me is like the edgy colourful girl at the party.

Ah well, mayhaps these pictures will be good? I can't get a picture of Lindsay looking over her shoulder winking with a wind machine blowing her hair out of my head, though.

I read an interview with Miuccia where she said she is trying to make Miu Miu stand alone as it's own brand, not a diffusion line associated with Prada. Part of that is higher prices and moving the catwalk show from Milan to Paris.
