They will still use a big model if it fits their esthetic, but Prada's aesthetic is very slim. It's hard to get on a Prada runway or campaign and thats why It's so beneficial to a models career to be able to be in either.

As for bigger models in Prada campaigns, they like to use the newer faces, but in the spring summer 2004 ads, they used Elise Crombez and Diana Dondoe, both who were no longer new faces at the time.

For the new faces, the results speak for themselves. Look at the careers of Daria Werbowy, Elise Crombez and Sasha P.

I like the idea of Sasha being used in Prada so many times I think she a prefect fit. I also like the idea that they use new faces cause you can only look at someone for so long for you get bored of them. My list for top campaigns:

Prada -Of course!

Dior -Cause it's a power house and they rarely use new girls.

Victoria's sercret - I'm sure when people see you half naked they'll be watchin'.

Chanel -Karl's very picky so if he picks a new person it's cause they fit in his vision.

CK -I quess it's expected.

-And type of purfume ad cause they never change these till a new century or era goes by.

I guess its an exclusive, too. But isnt it even more bizarre that they also cast snejana for the fall 05 campaign? There's one pic that I'm 100% sure is featuring Snejana!

Everyone seems to think Prada instantly makes a model a star, but let's not forget Lydia Hearst and Ben Grimes were in its campaigns not very long ago and while they became successful and the campaigns will be great on their resume for name's sake, they never really got into the upper echelon of modeling.
