This is why I love love Love Oscar De La Renta, consistantcy! I'm so excited for this ad because it was shot in my hometown of Yonkers New York.

I adore Oscar De La Renta but this ad campaign really doesn't do his clothes justice. It's completely dulling and unimaginative in subject matter. Where's the creativity? The brief must have read 'model, standing in a room, looking at the camera'; I couldn't imagine a more generic concept.
With the global financial crisis in full swing you'd think now is the time to be as creative, innovative and fresh as possible in order to combat the slowing market, but this ad just doesn't cut it for me.
