This looks so UN-Prada that I'm tempted to like it for that fact alone. But then, the picture itself really is underwhelming. It's not colorful or funky enough, it's not playful or sexy enough, it's not ironic or funny enough, it's just kind of there.
2011 will be a very important year for Prada, Lopez noted. “There will be a change of image that aims to transmit a more creative, colourful luxury, which will target a wider audience,” she explained.
The result is Prada Candy, a new feminine fragrance that will be launched in the second half. The juice is described as a “Prada-style oriental”. The TV campaign features a dramatic dance sequence inspired by the Parisian Apache Dance.
Prada will launch Prada Candy, a new oriental fragrance for women, in August. The new scent is reportedly excessive, impulsive and passionate, and marks a break with the existing Prada perfume line.
The notes feature a cocktail of musks, caramel and an overdose of benzoin.
Prada Candy will be available in 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum and in matching body products.
I'm actually loving the box! It's a bit un-Prada indeed, but the design itself is so lovely.
