I'm amazed at how dull this is. It would have been nice to see Prada make use of Linda Evangelista's maturity and given us ads with some gravitas; let's face it, strong, smart looking women are nowhere to be found on the runways or in edits and campaigns. What a waste of an interesting idea; Prada's decision to use a woman in her forties was a shock to me.

Petitjean looks far better without the mangy beard, but here I was expecting Luis Afonso or some other infant newbie at front and centre! Nice to see the house that refined the stick insect/ foetus look to such a fine point step away from all that tired nonsense; Sasha P has never looked anything other than ill in my opinion. But what a shame the ads appear determined to send Linda down that ludicrous airbrushed route of the Sharon Stone Dior ads. Age defying? This is age denying...

I never thought I'd say this, being a Linda fan, but the campaign so far is very bad.

^^ maybe they've figured "it's Linda" and "it's Prada", so it's gonna sell anyway...
Her (kinda happy) expression somehow doesn't suit the collection.
