No, this is not an ad in the back pages of the Village Voice advertising "Asian body work" or "exotic escorts," even though it could soon be on the reverse of the L Magazine, where American Apparel ads usually hang out.

well these ads are all what AA have going for them really. It is not like their clothes could create huge thrills and desires in a consumer's mind... they are so generic to begin with.

these ads do create some sensation, and name recognition. that is about it really.

I think this campaign is not against homosexuality but against discrimination (against homosexuality)

The main tag says "sexual orientation is not a choice" as in a person is born with a sexual orientation so people shouldn´t discriminate. It goes on saying something about anti discrimination (I don´t speak italian but it´s similar to spanish). I *think* the Vatican censored this ad because they´d like us to believe homosexuality is a disease and that gays can be cured
