A modelo Sheila Baum fotografou essa semana em Paris para a nova campanha da D&G. “Fiz um bate-e-volta. Voei até a França, fotografamos em um barco no Rio Sena no outro dia e voltei para o Brasil em seguida”, conta. Cansativo? “Que nada! A viagem é um pouco chata, mas o trabalho foi ótimo. O Mario Testino (fotógrafo da campanha) é peruano, mas fala português. Ficamos batendo papo. Ele ama o Brasil, né?”, comenta. Há dois anos modelando, Sheila trilha um caminho super bacana. Além de desfilar por aqui nas temporadas do Rio e São Paulo, a gaúcha já participou da Semana de Moda de Paris pela Comme des Garçons e David Szeto. Ela tambem já foi capa de "Vogue Brasil" e "MAG" e estrelou editoriais nas revistas "Elle" italiana, "Marie Claire" grega e as francesas "L'Officiel", "Nylon" e "Crash". Apesar do pouco tempo trabalhando, Sheila conta que já conheceu mais de dez países e agora foca no aprendizado de outras línguas. “Estudei tanto que em três semanas já conseguia falar inglês. Mas, agora, quero muito aprender italiano e francês. Duas línguas que acho lindas”.

Vini - Although SPFW has always been a reliable source, I don't think Sheila was a part of the SS09 D&G cast (Maybe she shot for resort?). The SS09 campaign was also shot in Monaco, not Paris, so I'm thinking it's another job related to D&G

Sheila for D&G is definitely resort. It was shot in Paris in July.

I'm quite intrigued about the location details, though, she says they shot it on a boat on the river Seine. That sounds like it could actually turn out nice. But it probably won't.

The resort are shoting in paris but the SS09 are in Monaco

I hope Suvi and Lakshmi get more than one campaign this season. Suvi might get something by McDean because she's been working with him a lot lately. She'd also suit Calvin Klein again, but nowadays they seem to change models every season so I guess it'll go to someone else. Lakshmi probably continues with Givenchy.
