This looks like David Sims' work. He has a peculiar way of making Raquel look constipated in most of the photographs he takes of her. I really don't like this. For a glamorous, sexy fashion house like Ferragamo this just isn't doing it for me. Where is the beach? Where are the bold colors? This just looks so frigid.
Love the setting and Raquel looks great. The previous glamorous vision always caught my eyes in mags, but this new one is not bad either, for now. I'd love to see more pics.

That is actually so true!
I'm disappointed by this so far, too. I loved this collection so much, it was so sexy and I could think of so many models that would have been perfect for this campaign. Raquel isn't really one of them. As versatile as she is, I really don't think she suits this collection. I kind of wanted a dark-haired girl for this, someone who's sexy and 'fierce'. This image makes the outfit look boring, I agree that it's very McQueen, and the outfit looks Burberry-ish when the collection really wasn't anything like that. I'm hoping that this is just an unfortunate shot and that the rest of the campaign will have more life to it. I'm not excited about this yet.
I don't know if I totally like it! I need of more pics! BUT Raquel is the usual stunner and I like the fact the campaign is more ethereal and not focused on the (obvius) glamorous/diva mood that always involved Ferragamo's world.
