Concept is boring and redundant per usual.

I wonder what Valentino himself would think of
this. Iris is not the typical sexy Valentino girl.

It looks great . Stop the hate. Iris knows how to take a picture.

The ad looks amazing considering how hideous the collection was. but I don't understand the open leg picture. Why?

Agreed. I guess I like this ad mainly because I'm a sucker for this kind of stuff...dark, rich, lacquered, high gloss...plus, Iris is always a winner, so...

I still feel guilty liking it, though...the new "designers" are just so terrible.

It's not bad. I liked past seasons better though, but I think Iris looks pretty strong and commanding here. It's very sort of haunting sort of, which is a contrast to the runway show.
I don't like the open legs though ... but that could be just me.

Breathtaking. Totally M&M. I love that dark mood.
I'm not a fan of the Valentino designers but Iris can upgrade this collection in my eyes.

The clothes are boring,so like the set and the lights
And I wanna know who casted Iris because she's NOT Valentino prototype girl:NOT glamorous,NOT feminine and NOT chic...what a silly choice!!Do they really think Valentino could have casted her?Oh please...
The first shot reminds me of that one from Louis Vuitton SS09 with Madonna,so gross and so UN-Valentino again!!!

For me the best thing about these is the coloring. That green feathered jacket with the red mouth, chair and plant against the shadowy background just looks really beautiful to me.

Sidenote, does anyone think Iris looks a lot like Daria in that first shot or is my mind screwing with me?

I think you're right. If you look at Daria in the Longchamp campaign, she resembles to Iris. But it depends on the lighting and on the brows imo.
