I love them. Generally the goal of advertising is to sell the products featured and these ads certainly do that for me. As beautiful as the models' faces might be...

And I do get the question why they would hire 'expensive' models when they don't even show their faces. But then again, modeling is not only about facial expressions. It seems like Inez & Vinoodh chose their own muses for the campaign because their muses seem to understand their vision & idea for this campaign. Other models maybe wouldn't understand that.

I think it's really intriguing! If you're flipping a magazine it makes you stop!

I love this shot of Anja! it's the best so far!

LMAO at Amber's fat hands. I know she can't help it, but what were they thinking not trying to cover them up somehow to leave them out of the picture?

The ads themselves, I feel are pretentious. They're not terrible, but it's like they're trying too hard.

Well, i personallly like them.
i don't LOVE them, but i am quite fond of them
& they way the idea was executed. I admit this
looks like something ANTM would do, HOWEVER, its so
'intriguing'. I really like the quirkiness & eccentricity of these.

but that's just IMO

btw, this could start a trend. you never know.
i mean i'm not hoping to see LV patterned bags over Naomi's head
anytime soon!
BUT, this could really be a big move for Valentino if other designers start to copy.

& COME ON GUYS. FASHION is all about taking risks.
I respect Valentino for trying something different.

AGAIN, i say i don't hope to see this again
But it was a nice attempt. It could be better if you
coudl tell who was who. that's my only critique as of now.

When I first saw these my frist thought was wow this really features the products quite well and concentrats on the beauty of the clothing and accesories being photographed rather than the beauty of the model. So I LOVE this

They're interesting but I was expecting something else, this is such an amazing cast, I understand that it's his last collection and everything, but I would've liked to see their faces.

Who cares if can't see their faces? I like them, but the contrast on the images is too much IMO.

SHALOM!!!!
I dont care about the no face aspect- its different and right who really cares like some said it does draw you to the product rather than the model. They hired high class models for a reason. The people were expensive clothes dont go cheap on there under clothes just because you cant see them its all about being consistant.
