Valentino S/S 2008 : Amber, Anja, Raquel and Shalom by Inez & Vinoodh

Quote:
Even though Valentino's SS08 campaign features four great names -- Raquel Zimmermann (#1), Anja Rubik (#8), Shalom Harlow, and Amber Valetta -- Inez & Vinoodh play an interesting game of hide-and-seek in the advertisements, angling the shots so that long hair obscures the faces of all the models. Now...who is who, exactly?

Nooo Now that's depressing! Raquel's face is so beautiful to be hidden

So basically Anja has the best campaign season of her life, and her face is obsured in two of the biggest campaigns. Fantastic, there's always a catch.

Caroline Ribeiro's ads from 2002 also didn't show her face.

I like the poses and all but I'm not happy about the no face rule, and the same hair to everybody just so we can get messed up! The all look like Freja! The old Freja

well that's just stupid! why have top models in the campaigns if no one can see them? i don't like valentino and his campaigns anyways, so i wasn't expecting much.

part of me loves the idea that they hired all these big name models only to hide their faces and part of me is sad because these are disappointing
