a few seasons ago everyone was obsessed with mert & marcus' aesthetic- now people here are saying it's cheap? looks stunning to me; can't wait for the full campaign, love the blue & the oceanic feel of the campaign is translated well in cohesion with the collection. the collection itself was a bit cheesy but the campaign makes it look amazing & of course, gisele kills it as only she could.

I'll reserve my judgment to this one for a while until the full campaign is out. Although with the image posted, can't help but to be bothered about the too much blue tone.

The M+M aesthetic was a healthy reinvention of Guy Bourdin, that is what made people go insane over it, however, it is 2012 just about, and you can clearly see the change in photography. The blue is contrived, and I do not think it works with the collection, which setting proved different to the campaign concept. Nothing about this looks expensive and glossy, just a cheap moniker of amateur concept.

I am head over heels for this. Both shots are absolutely stellar and make the clothes look fabulous. That's the whole point, no? Seriously though everyone needs to stop bitching about the blue because the whole collection's theme revolved around water so it's completely understandable as to why they chose such color. Furthermore, I think the combination of the color blue and the desert is an interesting concept. Cannot wait for more shots.

I like it, silmply because it's sexy and it screams Versace but I know that the blue saturation is going to give me a headhache at some point and I'm not sure if it's a wise choice for the brand.

versace is known for being a little camp & over the top, almost an exaggeration. if we're talking cheap concepts, this in comparison, is far greater than something from say, blumarine. gisele's body, however, is stunning & that's what really makes the campaign or the shot that was seen for me. & furthermore, what about the lighting against gisele's skin does NOT look glossy, im just sayn?!
