Even though I agree with ASF, it does look repetitive, but I really like single shots!

Out of all of the looks shown on the runway I find myself wondering why they chose the most boring ones.

The only one that works for me is the one of the black smoking with the jacket open. That one is fantastic.

Still, the rest are so boring. Did every single shot need to look so identical? Did each of her expressions have to look identical?

I don't get the hype around these, at all.

do we know who styled this??
when i see all the sexy things.... well i'm thinking of vogue paris... but i doubt carine roitfeld styled this, non?

i like most of the looks honestly, though i'm still waiting for more more....
but there's one in particular i really don't like, and almost hate = the one with the YSL on the grey sweat.... the blue bag kills the whole look!!!!!
esp. when you see they manage to include pretty well another bag with the beige tuxedo....

i think this is good they strongly affirm Pilati's roots in YSL blood (by shooting the campain in front of the door of the Fondation Bergé....) but it's still weird because it's like one person waiting in front of it and that can't get in.... so i'm not sure yet about the meaning....
but i really like the fact they're playing on YSL's sexual side....

i'm still waiting for more.
thanks jadesunsets....

i doubt too!......maybe E.Alt styled this?just my guess...

to be honest i'm not a big fan of this season's ad and the collecton....the 08ss is great...so do these ads...i don't know why..maybe the colour...i hate the grey...and that blue...

GATHERING MOSS: Once the fashion folk have cleared out of Milan, Yves Saint Laurent will move in with its fashion message for regular folk, distributing on the street a newsprint advertising flyer to Milanese — and Londoners — starting on Saturday. A total of a million copies of YSL's latest "Manifesto," featuring images of Kate Moss from the spring-summer 2008 campaign shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, will also be distributed in Tokyo, in Paris during fashion week, and in Hong Kong in mid-April.

Large-scale images will be displayed in outdoor locations in New York, London and Hong Kong, while a "making-of" video will be posted on ysl.com, beginning Feb. 25.

....
i can see a touching homage from Pilati to the founder of the house in a greatful way..

it gives me the feeling that Kate is looking through the windows begging Mr. St. Laurent to come back again.

for me it is more than an ad., it is an invtation from Pilati to Mr. ST Laurent requesting him to return to the fashion scene & re open his house again ..

moreover, I feel that this ad. has somthing more than the commercial values.. it is playing on the cultural side too , i mean it is not only promoting the s/s 08 collection, it is promoting Yves's museum too ..
