I think it's really good. Not like last season's, but still very good.

Kate's expression is kinda weird, but I like the concept! Clothes really stands out.

brings to mind betty catroux which is a good thing, but i much prefer last season's. these are just not as appealing to me. the shots look like they're from those harper's bazaar editorials with the city as a background (particularly those "highlights from new york" editorials they put out after the shows). however, the clothes do stand out.

Love the clothes on her body which none of the models on the runway show have accomplished. Wondering if the clothes were modified for her.
The only thing is that her face looks horrendous.

the writing on the windows has a great value & meaning to YSL culture, it is the facade of Mr. Saint Laurent haute couture house where he had worked himself with Mr. Berge to build thier empire, & now it is closed & turned to a museum.

it is so touching homage from Pilati to the founder of the house in a greatful way..

it gives me the feeling that Kate is looking through the windows begging Mr. St. Laurent would come back again.

for me it is more than an ad., it is an invtation from Pilati to Mr. ST Laurent about requesting him to return to the fashion world & re open his house again .. this is how i see it

you can't appreciate this ad. only if you live in Paris or have visited this building, I did visited 4 times .. & everytime I walk in i feel that great heritage of YSL & the days that were full of joy & tears

^^Thank you so much, taz, for clearing that up! I didn't know what, or where the writing was, but now I do, and I feel a little more appreciation for the ad now!

I was really confused and thought this ad was really sloppy and stupid. But I can now see the significance of it all...I see the meaning and..irony? of it all. It's a sweet but funny concept.

you welcome dior couture , I feel that this ad. has somthing more than the commercial values.. it is playing on the cultural side too , i mean it is not only promoting the s/s 08 collection, it is promoting Yves's museum too ..

for those who doesn't discovered 'Fondation Pierre Bergé - Yves Saint Laurent' yet here is the site:
