Amy Cutler - Illustrator
everything comes full circle - i first came upon amy cutler's work in an issue of, i believe it was, surface magazine..it accompanied a short story with a similar theme. the illustration was 'tiger mending' and it combined with the story had a huge impact on me at the time, and as it often happens, the impact impacted - then immediately faded. but, it's come around again, and now i know not to forget about it.

if you guys like her work- there is a book that just came out from Pahidon called Vitamin D

amy cutler is in there as well as many other emerging contemporary drawers. drawing is really popular right now in contemporary art- and this book showcases the diversity of drawing right now. i like the book, cool rough edge pages... normal phaidon quirkiness

I love Amy Cutler!

There was a piece about her in Nylon about a year ago as well.
Thanks so much for this .francesca!

I've cut out all of the articles I've found, I'll see if I can track them down.
