^The story is quite good. I don't read manga often, and when I do, it's b/c they're really good.

P.S.: The guys are sooooooooo hot, even if they aren't real.

Ooh! My favorite anime/manga is Nana! I'm so into the story!

I also enjoyed Cowboy Bebop.

Nodama Cantabile has a cute story, but the art was so awful in the manga that I just watched the live action version (and now I'm officially a sucker for Asian dramas on top of everything else!)

Love the art work too, totaly amazing, and the clothes are so cool. Just bought 4 and 5 now from amazong...yaya super cheap. Manga in Norway is so expensive, like £10 or so for one book

My favorite opening and ending themes are, in no particular order:
1. Cruel Angel Thesis - Evangelion - OP
2. Tokimeki no Doukasen - Fushigi Yuugi - ED
3. Fushigi Yuugi - OP
4. Rinbu Revolution - Utena - OP
5. Sailormoon, Sailormoon Stars - OP (for memories' sake)
6. Get Along, Give a Reason - Slayers & Slayers NEXT - OP

I have a lot and my favorite songs tend to be from my favorite anime series. ^^

It's so cheesy but I love it.

I've just finished reading the Absolute Boyfriend manga, I wish they'd make it into an Anime series

They made it into a live action (called Zettai Kareshi in Japanese)! I actually finished watching it the other day and cried. I generally don't like live actions, but I fell in love with this one. So cute!

that's like a rule, if the opening theme is good the anime has to be good
of course it doesn't always work out that way, but i usually give an anime a chance because of the OP theme song.

BTW Nana was made into a film. two actually.
i know this because the single
Nana starring Mika Nakashima - glamorous sky
is from the movie and i that song.

None of characters in their twenties specifically come to mind, but have you read Paradise Kiss? It's by the same mangaka, and it's about fashion students in their senior year of high school. It's a very mature, stylized, and engaging manga. If you loved Nana and haven't read it, I highly recommend it!

^ I watched a few episodes...I didn't really like the animation. I also started to watch The Wallflower but again, the animation was pretty bad

I'm currently watching full moon o saga****e - it's one of the best I've seen (the manga is better though)- I'd recommend it
