Gosh I love clamp. I have a bunch of mangas from them.

I grew up watching Sailor Moon and Cardcaptors. So girly and cute, I still love them.
I wouldn't be friends with my best friend (who is like a sister and has been for like 7 years) if it wasn't for Cardcaptors

I was thinking Usagi has an actual wardrobe
I mean I have seen her wear the same jacket (anorak) in one episode and again in another much later episode, and again... I forget what colour it was. Either purple or acid green

anyone watches cult-hit series?

One of my favourite series is Welcome to the NHK.
Which is a story about a NEET (Not currently engaged in Employment, Education or Training).
I just loved how Accurately they capture the human psyche. And humans in general.

Sadly, anyone without knowledge of japanese society and certain level of knowledge regarding otaku's lifestyle wouldn't get the full extend of the series. As it is so full of satirical humor.

Wow! I haven't been in this thread for a long time.

I've just gotten back into reading manga a couple of weeks ago, thinking I could make it an incentive to work on learning Japanese. (No luck there, my textbooks have been sitting in the corner of my bedroom almost untouched for six months...)

Some of the titles I've been reading recently:
Chii's Sweet Home
Jinjya no Susume
Kinou Nani Tabeta?
Honey & Honey
Shiawase Kissa Sanchoume

The most adorable of the bunch is definitely Chii's Sweet Home. It's about a kitten's daily life and interaction with its family, so it would seem mundane, but somehow with every chapter I want to get another cat more and more!

And yeah, I don't speak near enough Japanese to be able to read any manga. I'm actually reading them online, too...but I have to say I don't feel too bad about it. Once I can rationalize Amazon.co.jp's ridiculous shipping rates, I'll be buying all of the ones I mentioned, plus a few more.

I've been addicted for the past two months.

P.S.: Mods, the Youtube embedding code isn't working.
