^ Yep, that's what I was referring too...I know I'm kinda weird but I don't really like anime, while I adore manga (as well as other kinds of "comics", or better, "painted literature", as our great Hugo Pratt used to call it... )

I just finished watching all the episodes, what they have online...
They have only 18, which is sad I think the series goes up to 138+ and there are several movies. I'd love to get the manga but I think someone stole it from our library Such beautiful drawings that anime... Maetel is sooo pretty! But the one I like, she is called Lahla! So pretty

well, I started to buy Manga about 10 yrs ago, when I was in elementary school. I was a big fan of Sailor Moon, as I still am.
I love Ai Yazawa's Paradise Kiss, Othello, Junko Mizono's work and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

@Ariella, I've seen it. But well, I like the Manga more, because I don't like the way they set the Anime.

agreee! paradise kiss is AMAZING. and also gokinjo monogatari ^^. i love the manga better though. both of them are by ai yazawa who writes NANA. really have to read them if you haven't

i want to introduce you to Naruto!!!^^
I just love Naruto man, so funny and the action is pretty awesome, although they sometimes seems to drag on the plot a bit too much, but generally it's been very exciting!
At the moment, it's one of the most exciting arc!

Hello everyone. Can anyone recommend an anime that is like 'Fruits Basket'...i really liked that one, I've tried some others.
Cowboy bebop, bubblegum crisis, ghost in the shell...they were ok...but just not my style. Any ideas of more I may like?

It's a very old manga though
It's all about family and relationships I suppose

Another one is Mimi wo Sumaseba "If you listen closely"
I was able to read a few sample pages of this once online-- I downloaded it
I don't know where it is anymore
I'd rather get the whole book
Anyway the story is very sweet...It's about a girl who finds out that all the books she takes out at the library is taken out by the same boy. Over and over it's like this
