In the U.S. Sept. issue of instyle currently on newstands, there's an article dedicated to Donatella Versace's Milan apartment. It features a shot of the front of the palazzo, which is absolutely breathtaking, easily the most beautiful apartment I've ever seen.

Can someone please post scans of that article or pictures of the apartment?

"Andre and Lisa Radandt turned a 1940s stone dwelling into guest lodgings for their Michigan home. They worked with architect-designers Gregory Dufner and Daniel Heighes Wismer, of the New York firm Dufner Heighes, who played to the building's strengths, retaining even its moss-covered roof."

"A simple cottage undergoes a sophisticated transformation that respects its past but celebrates its quirky character. Antiques dealer Angus Wilkie has owned this foursquare early-19th-century cottage on four acres for 18 years. The house is located 110 miles northeast of New York City, where the Connecticut River meets Long Island Sound."

"A continental family moves to Los Angeles, leaving tradition behind and embracing a laid-back but luxurious aesthetic. A view of the house, recently decorated by Parisian designer Chahan Minassian."

Shigatse, Tibet

The Tashilunpo is the traditional seat of the Panchen Lama, the second highest reincarnation in Tibet after the Dalai Lama. This medieval city of temples and monasteries on top of the hills in Shigatse is also the stage for an unresolved drama of treachery and intrigue surrounding the current incarnation. After the passing of the last Panchen Lama, a boy was found in Northern Tibet and was recognized by the Dalai Lama. The boy was swiftly arrested by the Chinese. Soon afterwards, Beijing presented their own candidate, who was enthroned at Tashilunpo. The mystery is nobody seems to know where either of the boys are, since the ‘official’ Panchen Lama is seldom seen in Shigatse.

A three-bedroom two-bath pueblo in Placitas, an artsy community that is located between Albuquerque and Santa Fe, is on the market for $695,000. The home was constructed in 1994 in a traditional frame-and-stucco southwest design. The great room has a kiva fireplace and home-theater system with hard-wired speakers.

The 1.3-acre lot has views of the Sandia Mountains. The front yard has low-maintenance xeriscaping; the walled courtyard has a pool, a spa, and an outdoor kiva fireplace. There are also two flagstone patios and a small pond with a waterfall.

Three Rivers, California: A four-bedroom four-bath house at the edge of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks is on the market for $1,950,000. The house was built in 1947, but thoroughly renovated in the past five years. Each room has river views.
