The Selfshelf is a shelf with the appearance of a book. Invisibly attached to the wall with the included bracket, it can support a maximum weight of 4 kg. The effect is amazing, your stack of books seems to be mysteriously floating in the air. On the front of the cover features the text "Ceci n'est pas un livre".

My new favorite library, from none other than the Master of the Universe himself, Karl Lagerfeld.


I think it's in his house because the skylight looks familiar, but it might be at the 7L bookshop?

oh I love it. book bricks... and it's funny, just earlier I was reading a book on shops in Berlin, and one of them mentioned Lagerfeld's custom.. it made me pause for thought.

Nope, it's always the same one, but it's available in different colours.
