this one is called the "bookworm"
it's designed by ron arad and made by kartell-
the concept is that you order the shelf in the length and # of bookends that you want, then assemble it yourself into any shape you want (except no right angles or sharp curves...)

oh, i want one so bad....! what a great way to add some personality to a room.
they also come in more colors than shown here...

I need wall to wall shelving for all of mine! i have filled an entire 8 storey bookcase and am not resorting to the floor and boxes! I hate doing this becuase I love to see all of my books.

I love this thread I don't know why but its so inspiring the library photo are beautiful, if only had many book to display in such a fashion mine are scattered anywhere and everywhere
