Great thread! I like to see how designers express their ideas, you can even see their personality through those sketches.

The Scandinavian designers Arne & Carlos have their own blog ( http://arne-carlos.blogspot.com ) where they among other things show some of their sketches...

Are these the sketches the designers made or are these sketches made by just people who like to draw designer dresses?

Thanks in advance!

Which Software To Use for Fashion Designing in PC?

Hey guys, I need help, I am currently applying as a designer for a local brand and they have asked me to do a collection If i can make them on Photoshop or Corel, it would be better as the client prefers them to be computer-rendered.

How will I do it? Is there a specific Corel or Adobe program?

Do I draw using mouse?

Waaaah! Im gonna die!

People, I need your help I need to submitt this collection by Monday. Thanks in advance, everyone!

kinkexplosion, Corels program is called Corel Painter, Adobes is called Adobe Photoshop. You can also use Adobe Illustrator.

These programs is expencive, but you can download a trial verson that'll last for 30 days. I'm not sure if Corel have one, but I think Adobe have. Just go to www.adobe.com and look around, I'm sure you'll find it! I would try Photoshop first. And maybe you'll find some tutorials that can help you if you search on google.

If you don't have a pen tablet I would use the mouse, yes.

Edit: If you can find a trial version of Corel Painter, I think that's the best program. Good luck!

That actually sounds like a better idea if you're inexperiensed with mouse-drawing. Then I'd go for Photoshop. But I'm not sure what you can do with them to make them look more digital. Maybe you can explain it when you deliver the drawings?
