You've got some of my favourites in there as well... My bedroom is actually filled with Waterhouse's paintings! Also a large, black-matted copy of this, 'cause I'm slightly morbid.

the lady of shalott is my very favourite waterhouse painting - it's my personal picture in my profile as well. it is gorgeous, isn't it?

I forgot to mention charles rennie macintosh...I love his designs, but his paintings are really special too...simple and pure.

It is wonderful, I'm also feeling the Symbolists a lot right now.
Some Carlo Crivelli- total and complete eye-candy.

I also like Miró. And when I was a child I used to copy some of his paintings, I loved it!
Here it's the official site of Miró fundation, the museum about him in Barcelona:
www.bcn.fjmiro. es
It has a lot of pictures of his paintings.

See, all the cool people are doing it... :punk:
You're welcome. I actually only found it because of the time spend on Renaissance art websites. He's definitely become one of my lesser known favourites though.

Frida Kahlo
Salvadore Dali
Georgia O' Keeffe
Tamara de Lempicka
Jackson Pollock

I think my favorite favorite would be Lempicka. Her use of line and shadow just amazes me.

And the artist herself

I love that painting, as an interesting (or perhaps just irrelevant :p) aside, my mum made a couple of Menina sculptures when we lived in Spain, which were very lovely. She's moving right now so I'm not sure if they're packed, but if they aren't I'll try to take and post some pics of them when I go home for Christmas
