I think that the juxtaposition between the pink font and the image on the poster are so striking. For some reason, it gives off an 80's vibe to me.

The Artist (2011)

Also, I really like The Artist's movie poster. It really evokes what movies from the silent film era were like (which is what the movie is about anyways). And I think it stands out from a lot of the film posters which are released today. So many of them are really generic and way too airbrushed. But The Artist and Drive both are good examples of a great film poster.

''Where the wild things are'' posters are as beautiful as the film. Ususally when it comes to film posters i prefer the minimalistic one. Leaving some of my favourite
