if you guys don't have the francesca woodman photography book, i would definitely reccomend getting it (it's distributed by phiadon) it cotains all of her photos and there are some anlyses of them in there, too. it is an absolutely beautiful and haunting book
I'm so glad she has a thread here! Thanks for the reminder, I saw that trailer a while back and I knew I would have to see it when it came out! It does look very interesting, especially since I feel like I can't find a lot of info about her life so I'm glad this was made.
I've seen it. It's definitely worth a watch if you're a fan of Francesca. It focuses mostly on her family and their views on Francesca and they talk about her growing up in a family of artists. At times I feel like it focuses a bit too much on her parents but it does show some insight into Francesca and parts of her diary are read in the documentary which is interesting to see.
