i love this thread!!!...i need a couch...what should i get...?

don't want to spend like crazy...would rather buy cheaper couch and have more for clothes...

i know i know...it's a sickness...clothes clothes clothes... ...what can i say?...
I think you should do what I'm doing. If it's not an emergency, just wait for a sale, or a sample sale, or a store closing, but buy something quality. For example, I bought a two seater ottoman for $150 that was around $800 when Henro on Crosby was closing down. I highly recommend browsing www.craigslist.org, very useful.

If you are tired of waiting and want to get something quality, but don't want to shell out a big sum right away, may I recommend you Design Within Reach credit card? I believe it's 0% APR for 12 months. Their store is on Wooster, between Houston/Prince.

i love those light fixtures. my home is more classic/fussy furniture but i really love it . My kitchen is by Clive Christian, my closets by California Closets. but alot of my furniture is by Horchow & some Oscar de Larenta furniture & then anitques & flea market finds. I also have many things from travels to everywhere which gives a eclectic look. Im really in love with my home right now

example:
is this your house prada romance... ...

how cool to be able to picture where you are...i think it suits you perfectly...or at least how i picture you...

i simply love the zebra ottoman...

Next step. I just preordered this suspension lamp for our hallway (the store is out of stock right now). It is gorgeous. Here is a detailed shot.

I want that one in gold!

'Silhuett' table lamp, by Olof Kolte, for Örsjö Belysning.

Quote:
Ever since we first set eyes on the 'Ring My Bell' bell for Skultuna in W*50, we have been close followers of designer Olof Kolte. This year, Kolte has given brass the brush-off and moved on to lighting for Örsjö Belysning, yet another solid Swedish establishment. Made out of steel with a little brass arm to adjust the height, this delicately framed desk lamp is laser-cut, folded and powder-coated, to create a silhouette so simple it can be combined with a whole smörgåsbord of lampshades.
