I agree.

Thanks for posting these images, Maarit. I like them quite a bit.

I hope I can move out from home next fall...I have decided my interior style already...it will be Asian. The spicy colors of Indian deco, the reddish wood of Thai, the simplicity of Japanese...
white+hint of spicy colors+dark red/brown wood

Haha, we have two of those. Along with Marimekko textiles, I think you can find those vases from every Finnish home. That's why I have never really cared of them but lately I have rediscovered the beauty of Finnish designs.

My table:

designed by my cousin-in-law, Maurice Mentjens. He gave it to me and my husband as a wedding gift, lord love him. He's quite a talented interior designer, tends to work in a classic modernist style and has done a lot of comissions lately...check out his website: www.mauricementjens.com

faust, what an amazing pick with those covered chandeliers by Moooi

I also like Moooi´s Smoke chair & lamp, mixed with something clean and minimalist, they are to die for... They also offer to customize your own (antique) furnitures the way they do the chairs and lamp... I heard of somebody who asked them to burn his piano and re-build it in the same process... how cool is that?!
