^ That kind of stuff makes me want to get a bunch of sheets from the thrift store..and paint my wood floors white!

Reminds me of the ever-changing bed of jekinthebox on flickr:

I do not like the rug either, but all the pillows everywhere are wonderful. And a house with cats can be nothing but the house of my dreams !

I like the rug... I've been really into faux animal rugs lately (I have the Ikea faux sheepskin rug in my room, love it), haha but I'm also from colorado where things are very nature/western inspired.

Sorry for the late reply Gius Joseph Dirand has done several projects including a hotel.
One of the images I included in my original post was of somebody's personal residence.

He has also worked on the interior of some of the Rick Owens boutiques.
As far as i know the materials look to be concrete, marble/stone. I love the raw feel of his interiors. I like the look of that bathroom too with the long mirror and bowls, it has such an industrial cold feel

More images of his creations can be found on his website: www.josephdirand.com

I love the earthy/urban feel of this home

Roman & Williams is the partnership behind the New York outposts of both the Ace Hotel and the Standard (they also overhauled the Royalton Hotel lobby not long ago). The design duo (Robin Standefer and Stephen Alesch) lives and works in this loft in lower Manhattan; we like the slightly disheveled, curio-shop vibe.
