Joe Sorren - artist
I thought there was a thread about him but there wasn't.... so here are some of his paintings. I actually really like his paintings. He also made a few nice sculptures too. Anyways, check out his website --> www.joesorren.com cuz it's pretty cool.
All pictures are from www.joesorren.com

OOH!

The violin boy and the lipstick chick really stand out for me. These are nice! Thanks for posting.

the lipstick image really is impressing. as so often with the brigade of newer artists making use of the abyss between sweet/innocent and cruel/scary/gloomy imagery i'm a bit on the fence about this but it's definitely worth looking at. thanks for sharing!

The style is quite used these days, that's true. Still, I like these images.

Are there more?

Yeah. I really like how they're more 'painterly', so to speak. The brushstroke's there, and the gloomyness of the style is not as obvious as with others.
