Knitta Please - Graffiti Artists
Anyone seen / heard of this group?
They do knit graffiti or 'guerilla knitting' covering stuff from parking meters, car antennas, bins, whatever in knitting...
There was a heap of buzz about them in the media last year but as yet I've never spotted anything myself...has anyone here seen anything?

you mean seen these things in real life?
Not myself , but here's their website ...

There's a crocheted (computer) mouse cord I have ... but I was the one who did it and it's in my apartment

Oh & here's a Guerrilla Knitting group on flickr I know I have seen this before, but it wasn't called knitta please, so maybe there are many variations/groups

Yeah that's the one, I checked out their website awhile back.
I just bought this book 'Knitknit - profiles and projects from knitting's new wave', on a recent trip to the V&A. Anyway they had Knitta's profile in it...
I've seen so many cool things in photos but I really want to see something in the street (I'm thinking I'll have to do it myself ) So yeah I was wondeing if anyone had seen anything for real...
Guis, I really wanna see your crotcheted mouse cord!!! Photo pls

LOL I'm going through my library atm and found my Knit Knit book, if you love knit, buy it!!! Author: Sabrina Gschwandtner.
Below is the profile of Knitta (the graffiti group) which even features a pattern for a 'Preppy Car Antenna Cozy'...there are so many fantastic profiles in this book...
The last picture is a dress/gown made from Aran sweaters by an artist Mandy McIntosh (the picture is actually a still from a film she did in 1996 called 'Donkey Skin', anyone seen it?)

For knit artists everywhere!!
