I love Man Ray! I went to an exhibition in London a very long time ago, but I was so young I don't think I paid much attention

Here are some of my personal favorites from the book "Man Ray" published by Taschen.
Hopefully photobucket won't take the first two down...

I've only recently gotten interested in his work. I love the portraits and his emphasis on, for example, hands.. I find it very beautiful and dreamy.

Breathtaking StellaMare, his emphasis on hands is indeed an intriguing part of his work. For me hands can be so expressive and when it comes to Man Ray hands, it is very sensuous and dreamy. I have always find hands in art very interesting, and I find them fascinating also when I draw myself, eventhough it's such hard part to overcome! Thank you so much for all the photos! ...

I watched a bad documentary about the Black Dahlia murder case. In the documentary they said that the murder of Black Dahlia, the position she was laid, the place where her body was left and the way she was cut half was to make the killing resemble a Man Ray painting. There were also a couple of other murders that took inspiration from Man Ray's work, according to the documentary. Has anyone else heard of this?

Oh, and Stella, thank you for the contributions
