oh my, are these amazing! i love that watercolor renders things so soft, yet so striking at the same time... and his illustrations themselves are so arresting..it really gives the whole body of work a quality of unreality, while still being very much tangible...i can imagine the textures of the fabrics!
thanks for all the images everyone! ![]() |

luxmode posted a bunch of his decoupage work in the sketchy behavior thread here...
http://www.thefashionspot.com/forums...5&page=4&pp=20 she mentioned that they are from Italian Vogue but she didn't say which one. they're beautiful! |

absolute perfection! this guy is a genius. i think the reason i find some of these a bit "scary" is because there is this very "ghostly" feel to it...very ethereal and mysterious

those are AMAZING! my favorite thing about his work is that it is so simple, yet has so much atmosphere. i could stare at them forever and still find myself lost in them!

I have yet to see someone who uses aquarel paint better than he.
He did these impressions of the Fall/Winter 2005 catwalks for La Vie en Rose [best Dutch mag if I were to say it] in 2005, they included an interesting interview too.Does anyone have the decoupage series, but larger? I'm pretty sure the scanner made the colored ones look they were dipped in candy, unlike the originals. ![]() [my scans] |
