Marlene Dietrich - a legend!

LOVE how glamour back then, as conservative and covered up as it was (compared to today) looked WAY better than a lot of what we see in movies today (excluding SATC :p)

^ Agree about Marlene being a legend.

Disagree about SATC movie fashion being anything special

I also think nearly all people were more devoted to appropriate dressing (and the details) that time.

You certainly see a shift in menís suits as well. In nearly all movies I have seen they were perfect up to WWII, but then they started to lose touch and get sloppy.

ErnstLudwig you are rad. Veronica Lake is my favorite actress of all time -- I'm embarrassed to say I've never seen that film though, definitely on my list now. Keep the caps coming please

I adore the outfits Jennifer Connelly wore in this film, but I can't find
any screencaps of most of her outfits. Boo.
