Poketo is a network of artists, founded by the two of us, Ted Vadakan and Angie Myung. Totally eclectic and 100% unique. We first launched our artist wallets in 2003 with a handful of emerging artists, produced in very limited editions, they acted as artist promo pieces to accompany the art show we produced. They were pieces of art that we wanted people to walk away with, keep on them always, and be the catalyst for conversation and ideas. The artists designed them exclusively for us and we were able to promote the artists by adding bio and contact info inside of the wallet (something we still do on all Poketo stuff). Those who were lucky enough to have these gems, well, they have something that is now a collectible. The overwhelming response of what we were doing and making ignited Poketo!
Poketo is now a growing network of over 100 international artists; we have hundreds of artist wallet designs, a full line of artist tees and bags, stationery, and homeware. We have designed official wallets for magazines and bands including Arcade Fire, Matisyahu, The Shins, Weezer, Postal Service and others. From wallets, to apparel, to bags, to lifestyle wares, you can expect nothing less than the freshness and spontaneity of Poketo, art for your everyday!

Thanks, I think they both will! the other site seems to have a few different ones (older presumably) that I really like. Which one did you order for yourself?
^ooh very cute ones i like the first two, esp the one with the mini
it's smart
and nice as a promotion
and useful too
there is another company here who uses artist illustrations as well, except for t-shirts
and they also accept contributions from other artists/students
not necessarily all from their own personal network
Some of these will be repeats from the other pics I posted but I think they're worth seeing again
This one is for me...
I just really liked the vibrant colors..
and it also reminded me a bit of miyazake films...
And the following I chose for my sisters and cousins..
I tried to match them to their personalities as best as I could with what they still had available...
the last one with the bird is in the poketo archive but i found it and ordered it on a website called greenergrassdesigns.com..
pics from poketo.com and urbanretro.co.uk

strawb i like all of the ones you've chosen but have to agree with gius about the second one
it's' quirky and i really like the colors and the sort of "mood" it has..
i almost bought one by that same artist with the books in it..
