foreshoke, there is black and white film for Polaroid cameras. There are various types of black and white film available for different uses (this is the same with the normal colour film).

For example, the 55 Film is an extremely high-resolution positive/negative sheet film for finely detailed black and white prints and negatives. Whereas the 803 Film is specifically designed for industrial and medical x-rays, quality control documentation, and microscopy.

Hope that helps .

Ah, her polariod series have been my favourite, there is a sweet whimsical quality her,
how she captures her subjects with light, how she chooses to present herself in her portraits.

Is this not the most adorable couple polarioid!

What's a good polaroid camera? I know nothing about them unfortunately yet I want to get my dad one for his Birthday. I love those Mandy Lamb and Yoni Kifle photos so much.

foreshoke and Cosette, you are both very welcome !!

heykitten, I love the Mandy Lamb ones too!! They all look so dreamy.....

twilight fairy, there are so many different Polaroid cameras!! You should check out the Polaroid website to view the full product range and find the one that you think would best suit your dad's needs .

nice thread! I love the effect and feel of polaroids and polaroid tranfers to print paper. i haven't worked with polaroids at all but would definitely consider getting one for creative purposes. possibilities are infinite!

Look what I found!

I'll assume my pops took this, as my mom would probably snap a picture of her face on accident.
