Wall paper by Jenny Bergstrom

^Melting Greenland is part of the collection Apocalyptic Forecast Wallpaper. The pattern has borrowed the looks of a diagram and the dry aesthetics of statistics, but is not a conventional diagram. It can be interpreted by the viewer but also be viewed simply as a decorative pattern.

^Global Temperature Change is part of the collection Apocalyptic Forecast Wallpaper. The pattern is created by diagrams presented in the report of the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change on temperature changes from 2007. By repeating the diagrams, a continuous increase of temperature is illustrated.

^Last Generation is part of the collection Apocalyptic Forecast Wallpaper. This motif-wallpaper is named after the Fred Pearce book from 2007 with the same title. The aim was to create an image that radiates disaster, beauty, fear and calm at the same time Ė an image that can be looked at from different angles and which will hopefully change according to the ideas of the viewer.

Peepshow wallpaper

This simple design of plain paper with cut out circles can be put directly on top of existing wall decoration. The wallpaper gives a new look but with windows to look back on past memories.

www.timorousbeasties.com (if you go there and zoom in some of them have scenes going on - like the first one, with a guy holding a gun)

Great thread! I'm doing some silk screening and some of those are great. The kitschy crossword wallpapers are fun!

^ it would be cool to see some of your designs too ,
the thing i have trouble most is registration
... aligning so the colour layers all fit together
we didn't learn the proper way in my courses. we just used string to make a sort of grid on the fabric

such beauties..! S~D
the first one creates a stronger impact for me
mellow background, foreground..
than the super bright-dark contrast in the second same print.. almost disconnected

i see it works so well on a textured wall
looks like 'wall stencils' to me
