Wow! How did they make the egg-shaped lace things? Is there something inside of it keeping that shape?

I was in Chicago over the weekend, and I just noticed that many of the boutiques and department stores aren't very inviting. The 'clothes on a rack against a white wall' isn't very attractive to me, but when you're actually there, it seems very cold and intimidating. Which boutiques do you all think are the most inviting? Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Hermès all have very warm interiors, but I can't think of many else.

that's so true, most of them want to be so design that turn very cold, when you are buying something special you need a cosy space, where you can feel luxury and confortable inside. I think the new longchamp store it's inviting but i only see pics!
Today i was in a very luxury and inviting store in Vale de Lobo, in Algarve, but it's a interior design shop!!!

Are you talking about the New York Longchamp store? If so, I agree, the deep color would be a lot more comfortable than white!

For whatever reason, I think furniture stores actually look good with a stark, white atmospheres.

Marni looks beautiful, but I think I'd get a headache just walking around inside.
